About

b. 1986, HK.

AiNi (Anna Yakimenko) - her world is one of unconventional beauty, clean subtlety, playful wit and understated creativity. It's a place you can't quite describe but know the instant je ne sais quoi you feel when you see it - the art of AiNi.

AiNi hails from Khazakhstan where she was born and raised - a land of beauty and harshness that often intersect in its dramatic landscapes and fascinating history - a place where she nurtured her artistic expression and meticulous attention to detail since she can remember. The work culminated in her earning her Bachelor's Degree in Art and Design from South Kazakhstan State University in 2001.

A member of National Artists Association, she is a regular participant in many arts exhibitions and design events in both USA and Kazakhstan. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of styles, genres, and mediums. When one sees her portfolio they are immediately drawn into the artist's world filled with cityscapes, portraits, nature, characters, as well as contemporary and abstract art.

Artists are generally known to create what they want, when they want, and how they want - and while that is true of what AiNi does with some of her projects, she has also been quickly gaining respect and acclaim for her custom work. Her approachability has produced many works that were commissioned with a specific concept in mind and executed as a true blend of the client's idea and AiNi's artistic imagination while still bearing her unmistakable stylistic signature.
